If you worship power
you will always feel weak and need more.

If you worship money you will feel incomplete
and never be able to have less.
.
If you worship war you will always try to avoid peace.
.
If you worship beauty, your senses will be your master,
if you worship a person, they will determine your life.
.
But, if you worship Jesus Christ,
you will attempt to walk like Him and love like him;
always falling short;
yet content in the knowledge that
He has chosen you,
not based upon what you think, feel, or can do.
.
But based upon the desire to love, even the unlovely.
.
Understanding that God’s type of love
always starts with the choice,
wherein whatever we place before ourselves,
not to be seen of men,
it is that for which we will develop
an unconditional emotion of love and attachment.
